Despite being the province with the most HIV-related deaths, the KwaZulu-Natal Aids Council says that the latest statistics showed it is winning the battle against the spread of infection.
Zwelithini also voiced his support for the controversial Tara Klamp, a Malaysian-made circumcision device that has been met with some criticism in this country.
“I know there are critics of the Tara Klamp. When I made the announcement about circumcision, I mentioned that this should be practised in a hygienic manner.
“The Tara Klamp helps promote hygiene during the performance of circumcision. No one should die as a result of the Tara Klamp,” he said.
